Cabo Roig is often referred to as the jewel of the Costa Blanca and is an exclusive resort between La Zenia and Dehesa De Campoamor. It is only 45 minutes from Alicante airport, whilst Murcia airport is a mere 20 minutes away. It boasts its own attractive marina and beautifully clean beach on the edge of the crystal clear Mediterranean. Beach lovers will also adore the other Blue flag beaches along this stretch of coast and there are many secluded coves to explore.

With over 300 days of sunshine and average temperatures of over 20 degrees, the area is a must for water sport lovers and fishing enthusiasts as well as being a golfers heaven.

There are three well-established and very popular courses within a ten minute radius, Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, and many more superb courses which are at most, half an hours drive away. The fashionable sports resort of La Manga can be reached in less than an hour.

For those looking for more cultural activities, the cities of Murcia, Cartegena and Orihuela are within a one hour drive away and there are several out of town shopping malls within easy reach by car.

The beach side area of Cabo Roig is characterised by many tree-lined avenues and landscaped gardens of fantastic villas which, it has been reported, have attracted some celebrity owners such as Terry Wogan and Cilla Black.

The Orihuela Costa Resort Club is located between Cabo Roig and La Zenia and offers swimming, including a children’s pool, tennis and squash courts, a fitness centre and sauna as well as pool bars and restaurants. There is a small charge for use of this facility in the peak season.
